Grandeur!
We had a project at school that aims to connect and relate some “Physics” in everyday life experience by blogging. I was assigned by our teacher to list their URLs and place it somewhere over the internet. Since I don’t want a plain list, I decided to put some hipstery banner. This way, she could be attracted and have the positive vibe to give us high scores (hehe the power of design)! I hope she did, haha!
I’m just glad and proud to be the president of our section, St. Jerome, for giving our best in anyway we can. Currently, we have won three times from different major contests - which makes us “grandeur” that came from the quote, “The glory that was Greece ; The grandeur that was Rome”.
Hoping we’ll have a place on the upcoming Speech Choir and to other future contests!

Pasikla-Band 2012
Every year, our school holds a fair with a significant mission - to reach out for the people in need and give them help. And after 5 years (4 or 5? I’m not sure), they put back the Battle of the Bands. It has always been the highlight of the Mission Fair since a lot of people are in to music and students want to showcase their skills and talents. The students are really demanding to have it back and fortunately, they did! Surprisingly, they put it back right when we’re about to graduate. Hooray! I guess they, the administrators and heads, have realized that it does not just promote our abilities but also the values and teachings they have given to us.
So back to the topic.. Since I’m the President of our club, Likhang Sining, I was asked to make the tarpaulin design for the said event. Our club moderator thought of having the members submit first their ideas by sketching it on a paper and the officers of the club will pick out the best. The sketch and concept of Mary Rose, the Vice President of the club, was picked (I don’t have the original drawing, sorry). And of course, made it out again and tadah! The final product can be seen above. Hope you like our almost-collaboration! Woohoo!
Appreciated!
Lotsa homeworks and can’t blog what happened last Behance Reviews! Hopefully I can post it tomorrow.
Life’s Direction
Last October 3-5, we had our retreat and it was so solemn and peace. We stayed at Oasis Of Prayer which was located at Silang, Cavite. The place was indeed for retreat and recollection. When we arrived there, it was raining hard hence I wasn’t able to take a shot of the place itself during the morning but good thing the weather turned well afterwards.
On School Stuff
Some artsy things I’ve done on school. The first one was my interpretation of the book, Dear John. We were asked to pick any novel and read it every Habit SR (Hold A Book It’s Time for Silent Reading) - I don’t know if the school came up with that originally because it was so awesome haha! Since I’m not that fond of reading, I didn’t finish it. But hey, the movie was impressive!
The drawing on the right was also my interpretation of a poem in which I forgot the title. It’s a poem full of hope and love. And so, I came up with an idea of a branch forming a heart shape (Inspired by my work, Somber Quietus!) with a background of a peaceful landscape.
Even though I’ve rushed some parts of both drawings, I still love them! Anyway, have a great night friends.
