Q:How do you do your illustrations? By sketching first manually then scan it?

Hi! It depends but I usually sketch my ideas first and then, list some elements I would like to appear in that specific illustration. For example, in my latest work (Somber Quietus), I first thought of having a skull-illusion illustration and then listed the elements: Kid, birds, balloons, airplanes, forest-themed design and such. After some concepts I made on how it would actually look like; I then picked out the best sketch and will start to make it on Photoshop. Of course, I use various references to make the final output. Google, sxc.hu and deviantArt are your bestfriends!

The banners you could see there are literally banners that I made out of Photoshop while the fonts are from Google WebFont. And the rollup page categories was taken from 9gag’s code. Yeah, I stole them.. Joke! I used that as a reference and tweaked it on my own style. If you could reveal yourself, we could talk more about this and I will try my best to help you! :-)
