This movie amazed me for its great visuals. Although I haven’t seen all of the Harry Potter movies, I still think it has a deep sense of story. A reason why I should watch them someday. Anyway, I hope guys like it!

Free-zing Fresh Fonts 1!

Since a lot of people are asking my favorite typefaces, I’ve decided to post some. And I will post more once or twice a month. By the way, these fonts are free so hooray for that! :-) Just be a great ‘googler’ for you to find them all. However, you will not be able to download the whole font-family in some fonts like Museo. But still, you can have its 300 and 500 weights. Hope you guys like them!

The Dark Lord!

After so many months, I’m doing another illustration which is very productive of me! Do I deserve a round of applause, maybe? No? Okay. Anyway, I think it’s a good way to let my creative juices flow once again. It’s about time to be back. The time which I need to prepare myself on the journey I will soon embark. Ha. Ha. So much drama. Haha.

The title of my post, however, is very intriguing. First, it is kind of related on what I am doing. Can you guess what is it? Second, the partial results of the election happening here in the Philippines make me sad. The Dark Lord has seriously come.. A nightmare for all Filipinos.. Just kidding. I just hope each one of them will do their own duties and be a great senator as expected. Lastly, I aborted the Harry Potter Poster (WIP#1 & WIP#2) I did some months ago because I felt guilty for copying a lot of illustrators (in one way.. or another. I’m gonna find ya, gonna getcha getcha hahaha). Also, I terribly failed at doing the composition, which was very important to the design. Lesson learned: Plan the layout / composition strategically. I should have been wise! Since I like how the poster turned out, I’m going to post it some other time. Stay tuned!

Happy Birthday JJOE!!

Approximately 19 hours ago, I turned 17 years old and felt old right away. :-( Haha! Anyway, I would like to thank all the people who have read and have been reading my blog ever since (if there’s any huhu). If you are kind of an old follower of mine, you would notice that I became less active as time goes by.. I got too busy in school stuff to post something, but still, I managed somehow. Ah! So, I will try my best to be active again to keep track of my ‘journey’ in college life!

Soon, I’m going to be a Green Archer! *cool sound effect plays* Hooray! But I think I have to post something about my graduation before I officially become one since I studied at SAS for the past 12 years! What a loyal Andrean here. Haha!

In relation to the typography above, I found my purpose in life, maybe, to inspire other people through art and design. I’ve always dreamed to run a design studio that makes thoughtful craft for the print / web and beyond. And in order for that to happen, of course, I need to pick the right program. Which then led me to choose Advertising in DLSU! Hopefully, it will be fun and exciting as a lot of people told me, like Ate Abbey and Sir Dan.

Again, thank you to all my followers for being part of my life! Now that I know my purpose in life, I’m going to continue what I always wanted to do. Make art! How about you, have you found your purpose in life?

If you want some delightful garlic recipes, you should definitely try going to Krazy Garlik! It’s a little bit different from the other restaurant that’s why you should give it a try, someday. What’s awesome with garlic is that, it adds a subtle flavor to each dish that makes it more tasty and delicious.

Not only they have great foods, but also their service is really amazing. One time, when we were eating there, I ordered myself a bottom-less iced tea. And as I was drinking it until half.. Just right before I put it down, the waitress suddenly took my drink (with me holding it still) harsh like she was trying to box me out as if we were rebounding a ball. Haha! But that moment was so unforgettable because it was the first time something like that happened to me. I mean, that was so fast. Faster than a fastener!

Although they are kind of pricey, it’s worth your money!

Enchanting Zeme

This was my first-ever artwork of the year, 2013! Guess where did I submit this? (You got it!) Graphika Manila! Yup, I tried my luck again by submitting a portrait though I know they were looking for something unique. This wasn’t published but I thank them for pushing me to create an artwork after 3 months, I guess?

So yeah, summer vacation has just started and I look forward on being active again here on tumblr and making lotsa digital stuff! And, still on the confusion what school should I enter. :-( DLSU, CSB, or MINT? Huhu. Ahhh, I just need some time to think. Probably.

I hope she appreciated this gift that I gave last Christmas. She has a tumblr, by the way, but I think she doesn’t use it anymore so I hope she won’t see this. Here’s a little teaser on what I’ve submitted to Graphika Manila. I actually don’t know if they will still accept this entry because I sent it like around 11:59 - 12:03 am (Friday night). Gmail had some bugs and didn’t let me send the first emails. Good thing that Google Drive solved the problem; but, the question still remains on my mind whether they will see and review this.
