I just want to share the process of how I made the header of my blog. First of all, if you’re going to design your own header as well, you need to have a direct idea of what you actually want. If nothing gets into your mind, searching off for different designs might help you, at least. Well, that’s how I got mine. In case you want to know what sites I visit to be inspired, here they are:
Once you’ve found some designs for your inspiration, you now have a mood board. This will help you develop your design concept and as well boost your creativity in one way or another. Here’s mine:

Initial Draft:
As you can see, it’s not that good. I seriously think that I have lost the ability to draw well ever since I stopped doing so when I was 1st year HS! :-( So here’s a tip. If you don’t want to lose your skill/talent, just keep on honing/using them and never miss a day! :-)
The lineart was made in Illustrator while the elements surrounding the typography were made in Photoshop. Here, you will see the flow of how I edited the whole design from the beginning.

I’m taking back what I’ve said some days ago in aborting this HP Poster. While I was trying my best to composite it, I suddenly felt like it was getting better. The urge of finishing hit me. So, hope to finish this today!
